If you want to develop childrens’ understanding of nature through modelling, this classroom set is perfect. It’s packed with exciting modelling materials – and our accompanying inspirational pictures give you fun, hands-on activities for practice. Activities that make children curious about nature – and which also strengthen their personal and social development.

Try to make e.g. clay faces on trees. Children love it when they are allowed to smudge the clay onto the trees – and if you collect leaves, stones, and branches from the forest, the children can create imaginative designs using nature’s own materials. There is room for lots of interaction about the different things you can find in nature, and the direct contact with the clay makes use of their senses and fine motor skills
